Restaurant marketing agencyin Austin
Brunch before the heat, dinner after it, and festival weeks in between. Austin ads timed to the hours people plan, with shoots at your restaurant.

Big weeks, then the heat.
Austin restaurants live between huge weeks and long, hot stretches, and the day itself splits in two each summer.
Festival weeks scare regulars
During South by Southwest the city fills with visitors. Many regulars stay away from downtown until it ends.
The middle of the day empties
When afternoons top 100 degrees, a patio-first restaurant loses lunch and has to win the morning and the evening instead.
Plans are made early
A Sunday brunch table is often picked on Thursday, and a night out in the late afternoon. An ad shown at the wrong hour misses the choice.
Assistants know South Congress.
Ask for brunch on South Congress and an assistant names three places. If your site is vague about your street, it skips you. Restaurant SEO puts your street on the page.
- 1.The cafe under the big oakShaded patio, brunch until 3pm.
- 2.The taco spot on the cornerBreakfast tacos, fast line.
- 3.The diner two blocks southIndoor seats, cold brew.
Austin's dining map, from Rainey Street to The Domain
Austin's restaurants cluster in a handful of districts, and each draws a different crowd at a different hour. South Congress mixes visitors walking the shops with locals who come for brunch and a view of the Capitol up the avenue. Rainey Street, just southeast of downtown, is old bungalows turned into bars, busiest on weekend nights. East Sixth and East Cesar Chavez are where long-time Austin and new arrivals eat side by side, from taco trucks to tasting menus.
South Lamar runs past Zilker Park and fills before and after a day outside. North of the river the picture changes: The Domain is a shopping, dining and apartment district where people eat close to work and home, and Mueller is a newer neighborhood with its own set of local restaurants. West Campus lives on the university calendar. A restaurant on East Cesar Chavez and one at The Domain are a long drive apart at rush hour, and their ads should never share an audience.
Brunch before the heat, dinner after it
From 2000 through 2025, Austin averaged about 36 days a year at 100 degrees or more at Camp Mabry, the city's official weather station. Some summers are kinder (2025 had 22 such days) and some are brutal (2011 had 90). From July into early September the day splits in two. The morning, before the sun gets high, belongs to brunch, coffee and breakfast tacos. Then the city goes indoors, and it comes back out around sunset, when a patio that sat empty at 3pm fills up again.
So an Austin summer plan carries two offers, not one. A weekend brunch offer that sells the early, cooler hours: a shaded table, a fan over the patio, a pitcher of something cold. And an evening offer that starts when the temperature drops: a sunset happy hour, a dinner special, a frozen drink with a reason attached. Say plainly in both ads, and on your site, whether you have indoor seats or real shade, because guests planning around the heat check before they leave the house. Our walk-ins guide shows how we build one of these offers.
Brunch is a weekend plan made on Thursday
Weekend brunch in Austin is often a group outing of six or eight people, and someone in the group is usually picking the place by Thursday night. Breakfast tacos, a shaded patio and a table that can be reserved decide a lot. That is when the brunch ad should run: Thursday and Friday evenings, to people within a short drive, with the booking page one tap away.
The page itself has to answer the planner's questions without a phone call: brunch hours on each day, whether you take reservations for large groups, whether the patio is covered, where to park and whether children are welcome. We build those pages on restaurant websites so the reservation happens before someone else's place gets the text in the group chat.
The hours people plan, in our own numbers
The clearest timing data we have comes from the restaurant we run ourselves, a beer garden on the Lower East Side of New York. In September 2026 it received 338 party inquiries, and we counted each one by the hour its first message arrived. 65 came in before noon. The busiest three-hour stretch of the whole day was 3pm to 6pm, with 88, about a quarter of the month. That looks like planning done in the gaps of a working day: once in the morning, and again in the late afternoon before people head home.
Those are New York party planners, not Austin brunch crowds, so we treat the hours as a starting schedule and then follow your own bookings. They fit an Austin summer well. The late afternoon, when it is too hot to be outside and people are deciding about tonight, is when an evening offer should land on their phones. The morning is when a weekend plan begins. Our social media management puts posts into those two windows first, and the ads follow the same clock.

Festival weeks: decide who you are cooking for
South by Southwest fills downtown every March. In 2026 it ran as one week, March 12 to 18, with the conference and the festivals at the same time, and Rodeo Austin ran alongside it, March 13 to 28, at the Travis County Expo Center. In October, the Austin City Limits festival takes two weekends at Zilker Park (October 2 to 4 and 9 to 11 in 2026), and the Formula 1 race weekend follows at the circuit southeast of town (October 23 to 25).
Each of those weeks forces a choice. Near downtown, South Congress and Rainey Street, a visitor offer can fill the room with people who have never heard of you, if it is live before they land. Farther out, many regulars avoid the crowds and eat close to home instead, and a quiet offer for neighbors does better. If you cater, festival week is also worth a separate offer to offices and private parties, which our catering sales guide covers.
The Austin year at a glance
These are the stretches we plan an Austin restaurant's offers around, with the month each push should go live:
- March: South by Southwest (March 12 to 18 in 2026) and Rodeo Austin (to March 28). Offers live by late February.
- April and May: the best patio weeks of the year. Push the patio and brunch hard before the heat arrives.
- June to early September: the hot stretch. Morning brunch and evening offers lead; middays rest.
- Fall Saturdays: home football games around West Campus, plus pro soccer nights in north Austin.
- October: two festival weekends at Zilker Park, then the Grand Prix weekend late in the month.
- November and December: holiday parties and group dinners. Private room pages should be live by early fall.
Game days and soccer nights
Football Saturdays in the fall fill West Campus and the streets around the stadium, and the crowd eats before and after. A restaurant on a route fans take can run a pregame or postgame offer on home game weekends only, aimed at the area around it, and go back to neighbors the rest of the week. The schedule is published months ahead, so these offers can be written and approved in August, with photos of game-day plates from the same shoot that covers the rest of the menu.
North Austin has its own game nights. The city's pro soccer team plays at a stadium in the North Burnet area, opened in 2021 with about 20,500 seats and a canopy over every one. Restaurants around The Domain and nearby can treat match nights the way downtown treats festival weeks: a short, specific offer for the hours around the game, to the people who will be close by.
What a first Austin season with us looks like
In Austin the calendar sets the order of work. A first call picks the weeks that matter at your door and the two summer offers, brunch and evening. Then a shoot at your restaurant by our nationwide photo and video team, timed for spring light, before the festival crowds and before the heat. Then the ads, aimed at the neighborhoods within a short drive and switching as the year turns: festival offers in March, patio and brunch in April and May, mornings and evenings from June.
Every month you see the bookings, orders and sales that came in from the ads, in your own accounts, so by the second summer you know which offer carried the heat and which festival week paid. If you are opening a new place, our grand opening guide walks through a launch week step by step, and the restaurant marketing checklist helps if you are still deciding whether to hire anyone.
In September 2026, 88 of the 338 party inquiries at our own beer garden arrived between 3pm and 6pm, and 65 arrived before noon.

Questions from Austin owners.
What Austin owners ask first.
Can a team based in New York market an Austin restaurant?
Yes. Our nationwide photo and video team shoots at your restaurant, and the ads, the posting and the monthly report are run by our team in New York. You see every ad and every number in your own accounts. We also run a restaurant of our own, a beer garden on the Lower East Side, and every method we sell was used there first.
When should our ads run in an Austin summer?
Early and late, not at midday. A brunch offer works best shown on Thursday and Friday evenings, and an evening offer in the late afternoon, when it is too hot to go out and people are deciding about tonight. At our own beer garden in New York, the busiest three hours of the day for party inquiries in September 2026 were 3pm to 6pm. We start from that schedule and move it as your own bookings come in.
What should we do during South by Southwest?
Decide early whether you want the visitors or your regulars. Near downtown and Rainey Street an offer for festival crowds can work, if it is live before the week starts. Farther out, a quiet offer for neighbors avoiding downtown often does better. In 2026 the festival ran as a single week, so the window is short and the plan has to be ready in February.
How far ahead should we plan for ACL and the Grand Prix?
Start in August. Both fall in October, the festival across two weekends at Zilker Park and the race weekend late in the month at the circuit southeast of town, and visitors book their dinners well ahead. A restaurant near South Lamar or downtown can run a visitor offer on those weekends only, while restaurants farther out keep their offer for neighbors. The photos for it should come from a spring or summer shoot, so nothing is rushed.
How do I get more customers to my restaurant in Austin?
Pick one reason to visit and show it to the people within a short drive at the hour they decide. In summer that means the morning for brunch and the late afternoon for tonight. Make sure your website says your street, your hours, your shade and your parking, and lets a guest book. Then repeat the offer every week long enough for neighbors to remember it.
Can you help us on game Saturdays?
Yes, if you are near campus or on a route fans take. We aim a pregame or postgame offer at the area around you on home game weekends, then switch back to neighbors for the rest of the season. North Austin restaurants can do the same around pro soccer matches. Off game days, the ad budget goes back to the people who live nearby.
Have you worked with restaurants in Texas?
Yes. A Texas restaurant made $5,000 at a Monday soft opening and earned 14 times its ad spend back in opening week. It is on our case studies page, labeled with its state, like every result we publish.
