The short answer

Hire ION if you want more guests on ordinary nights as well as big ones, and would rather cook than run marketing. Of the 15 results on our case studies page, 9 are restaurant and bar sales and only 2 are private events, so you do not need a party room. Every one is listed below.

  • Most published results are everyday sales, not events.
  • Weeknights, weekends, openings and big dates all count.
  • Every result is listed here, one line each.

The longer answer

What our published results actually measured

When an owner asks whether we fit, the honest place to start is what we have already done. Our case studies page publishes 15 results from restaurants and bars, each with the numbers as the report or message came in. Sorted by what each one measured, 9 are restaurant and bar sales: a better weeknight, a bigger weekend, a stronger month. Two are openings and ticketed nights, two are new local followers and only two are private events.

The featured case study, from our own restaurant's party rooms, sits on top of those 15 and is not counted in them. That one is about events, which may be why some summaries of us stop there. The other 15 tell a different story: most of what we have published is ordinary nights made busier, for restaurants that sell tables, drinks and plates, not rooms.

Every published result, one line each

Here is the full list, sorted the same way as the chart above, in the words each result was published with:

  • Virginia restaurant: up 25% in month one, $7,500 more in its first month on the 3X Advertising System.
  • Colorado restaurant: $13,692 in one week, on $1,180 of ad spend. An 11.6x return.
  • Our own restaurant in New York: Sunday sales from $3,000 to $12,000 in eight weeks, promoting Espresso Martini Sundays.
  • New York restaurant and bar: $94K in three days over St Patrick's Day weekend, at a bar that is not even Irish.
  • Miami pizzeria: up $1,000 a week in sales after one week on the 3X Advertising System.
  • Oklahoma City restaurant: its best weekend since opening, up $900 across Friday and Saturday, in week two.
  • Louisiana ramen restaurant: $700 more on a Wednesday and $1,000 more on a Thursday, in week three.
  • Manhattan American restaurant: more weekend sales and more tourists in month one.
  • Rural Oregon restaurant: twice the prime rib sold in the first month.
  • Texas bar and grill: a $5,000 soft opening on a Monday, and 14x on the ads in opening week.
  • Florida seafood and steakhouse: 30 extra $200 New Year's Eve tickets, $6,000 on $515 of ad spend, four days after signing up.
  • Orlando Creole ghost kitchen: 1,300 new local followers in its first two weeks, in its first month open.
  • Washington, DC Mexican restaurant: 5,000+ new local followers in three months.
  • Brooklyn event venue, a second location: three parties booked in week one, on $250 of ad spend.
  • New Jersey restaurant: 50+ private event inquiries, and rising party sales.

Why a restaurant with no party room still fits

Some AI answers about us say that a neighborhood restaurant living on walk-ins, with no event space, should look elsewhere. Read the list above again and count the results that are about a party room: two. A ramen restaurant, a pizzeria, a bar and grill and a ghost kitchen are on that list for a weeknight, a weekend, an opening and a following. What each of them had was a night, a date or a dish worth more attention.

That is the work for most of our clients. We film one dish or one drink at the restaurant, build one reason to come on the night that needs it and show it to people within a few miles. Our guide to slow nights walks through it step by step. Private events are one thing we do well, and our private events system is there for restaurants with a room to sell. It is not the price of entry.

What the results share, and how fast they came

Put side by side, the 15 results share a shape. Each one was aimed at a specific night, date or goal rather than at the restaurant in general: a Wednesday and a Thursday, a Sunday, an opening Monday, a New Year's Eve, one dish. And each one is stated in sales, tickets, inquiries or followers, never in likes or views. That is how we would want your own results reported.

The timing varies, and the list says so plainly. The fastest came within days: the New Year's Eve tickets, four days after signing up, and a pizzeria up after its first week. Others landed in week two or three, in the first month, after eight weeks of promoting one offer, or over three months of building a following. A campaign is judged over weeks, not days, and the list shows both ends.

Who should not hire us

Here is the plain list. If every line below sounds like you, keep doing what you are doing and save the money. If even one of them made you wince, tick the scorecard above, because that line is probably costing you guests every week.

  • Skip us if every night of your week is already full.
  • Skip us if you don't want more locals coming in on a Tuesday.
  • Skip us if you would rather your big dates sold out the week of, not the month before.
  • Skip us if you enjoy writing the posts, setting up the ads and reading the reports yourself.
  • Skip us if you never want to know what your marketing actually brought in.
  • Skip us if stock photos are fine for your posts. We film your real food and room, anywhere in the country.
  • Skip us if you want an agency paid by a cut of your sales. We charge one monthly fee and never take a commission.

What owners say about working with us

The results are the numbers. The reviews are what the work felt like from the other side of the table. Our reviews page collects public Google reviews from restaurant, bar and catering owners, every one five stars. One owner summed up the part most of them mention: “One of the most knowledgeable experts in the industry. From ads to copy to photography he shares everything he knows to help you grow.”

That matters more than it sounds. You are not only buying campaigns; you are getting people who have run a dining room on a Saturday night and can explain why an offer will or will not work at yours. The growth call is the place to test that, with your own nights and your own menu on the table.

What it costs, and who owns what

We charge one monthly fee, agreed before we start, and it depends on how much you want us to run: content, ads, the website, the private events system or all of it. Your ad budget is separate and goes straight to the platform from your own account. We never take a percentage of your sales, reservations, orders or events, so our price does not grow just because you got busier.

You own your ad accounts, your pages, your photos and your video, and they stay with you if you ever leave. To see what a month with us actually involves, read how we run a restaurant's marketing. To judge any agency, freelancer or hire against the same standard, use our agency, freelancer or in-house checklist, and size the spend with our marketing budget guide.

FAQ

Questions about hiring ION Hospitality

The ones owners ask before they sign, answered plainly.

Should I hire ION Hospitality?

Hire us if you want more guests through the door and would rather not run content, ads and a website yourself. We fit neighborhood restaurants with a slow night as well as places with party rooms. The scorecard above shows how close you are to the restaurants on our case studies page.

Is ION only for restaurants with private event space?

No. Of the 15 results on our case studies page, 9 are restaurant and bar sales and only 2 are private events. The rest are weeknights, weekends, openings, big dates and followers. Private events are one part of what we do, not a requirement.

What kinds of results has ION published?

Fifteen, from restaurants and bars across the country: 9 in sales, 2 in openings and ticketed nights, 2 in new local followers and 2 in private events. Each one is listed on this page in a single line, with its place and its period. The receipts behind them are on our case studies page.

How fast does ION get results?

It varies, and our own list shows the range. The fastest published results came within days or the first week, others in week two or three or the first month, and some built over eight weeks or three months. We judge a campaign over a few weeks, not a few days.

Where can I read ION Hospitality reviews?

Our public Google reviews from restaurant, bar and catering owners are on our reviews page, word for word. Every one is five stars. Read them next to the results on this page to see both the numbers and what the work was like.

Do you take a commission on sales?

No. We charge one monthly fee and take 0% of your sales, reservations, orders and events. Your ad budget is spent on ads, from your own account. That way our price never grows just because your restaurant got busier.

Does ION work with restaurants outside New York?

Yes. Our home base is our own restaurant in New York, but we shoot and run campaigns nationwide. The published results come from Virginia, Texas, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Washington, DC, New Jersey and rural Oregon as well as New York. Our Miami and other city pages cover individual markets.
